This general limited warranty applies only when no separate written product warranty supplied with the order states different terms. The separate written warranty, if any, controls.
Coverage period
Compoxen warrants to the original purchaser that eligible Compoxen-branded composite fence boards and coordinated components will be free from material defects in manufacturing for 20 years from the original purchase date, subject to the terms and exclusions below.
What Compoxen may provide
If an eligible defect is confirmed, Compoxen may, at its option, repair the affected product, provide replacement product of the same or reasonably comparable type, or refund the original purchase price of the affected product. Replacement finishes may not match weathered or discontinued material exactly.
What is not covered
This warranty does not cover labor, removal, disposal, reinstallation, shipping, freight, equipment, permits, loss of use, consequential damage, or damage caused by improper design or installation, inadequate footings, movement of soil or structures, misuse, impact, alteration, harsh chemicals, fire, flooding, wind or weather beyond the approved configuration, acts of nature, ordinary wear, or failure to follow current instructions.
Color and appearance
Normal variation in color, grain, gloss, texture, production lot, weathering, fading, chalking, staining, or surface deposits is not a manufacturing defect unless it exceeds the tolerance stated in the governing written product documents.
Owner responsibilities
The purchaser must retain proof of purchase, confirm that the product is appropriate for the site and local code, use compatible components, follow current installation and maintenance instructions, and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage.
How to make a claim
Contact contact@compoxen.com or (385) 479-8884. Provide proof of purchase, installation date and address, photographs, product labels if available, and a description of the issue. Compoxen may require inspection or return of a sample.
Legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state. Limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. No dealer, installer, or other person may change this warranty unless Compoxen agrees in writing.
